About me

My name is María Dögg and I am born on the 29th of August 1998. I have always loved art and drawing ever since I was little and would often spend hours drawing and doing art at home and in elementary school. 

I went to a high school called Fjölbrautaskólinn í Garðabæ and attended the Fine art department there. In December 2017 I graduated one semester earlier from Fjölbraut after learning for example: Drawing, painting, sculpting, photography, art history, ideology, color theory and more.
In the fall of 2018 I attended a course in Graphic Design from september to december in a school called Nýji Tölvu- og Viðskiptaskólinn. There I deepend my knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign along with learning some basics in Graphic Design.  
From 2018 to 2020 I worked in a reception at Brandenburg advertising agency and learned so many things that I will forever be grateful for.

In August 2020 I started studying graphic design at the Icelandic University of the Arts (IUA or LHÍ in Icelandic).
